ACME Returns to the US this Fall: Unbreakable Tour 2021

Los Angeles, CA – Visual rock band ACME announces their return to the US this fall with 4 dates across the country. The tour, titled “Unbreakable Tour 2021”, is a long-awaited comeback to their last US run in January 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic struck the world.

ACME has 4 performances planned for the Unbreakable Tour, two of which occur at conventions:

  • October 29-31 – Anime Weekend Atlanta, Atlanta, GA
  • November 3 – Reggie’s Rock Club, Chicago, IL (17+)
  • November 5-7 – Kumoricon, Portland, OR
  • November 11 – The Wayfarer, Costa Mesa, CA (21+)

While ACME performed online for Kumoricon’s virtual convention last year in 2020, they will perform at the in-person Kumoricon event as musical guests. Moreover, ACME kicks off the tour with an appearance at Anime Weekend Atlanta, making their first show in the Atlanta area.

Attendees of Anime Milwaukee, where ACME made their US debut in 2019, can look forward to ACME coming back to the Chicago area. The Costa Mesa tour finale marks ACME’s third show in the SoCal area.

Tickets for Chicago and Costa Mesa go on sale next week, July 15th at noon local time via the venue official websites:

Formed in 2017, ACME’s line-up consists of former DIV members CHISA (vo.) and SHOGO (gt.), former ARTEMA drummer HAL, and bassist RIKITO. Since their debut, they have gained tremendous momentum from their explosive fan response, establishing them as one of the hottest newcomers in the scene. The band wrapped up 2020 with officially changing their name typeset in Japanese Katakana to ACME in English letters, ready to face a steadily growing global audience.

ACME’s popularity has risen overseas (especially in the United States) through their music and outreach to overseas fans. In 2018, CHISA made his runway debut at Anime Expo’s fashion show. In 2019, ACME made their US live performance debut with 3 shows in the US.

In 2020, ACME headlined their first US west coast tour, with Canadian metal band Red Handed Denial. Earlier this year, ACME was also featured in popular YouTuber CDawgVA’s video: I Tried Being In A Japanese Band For A Day
